JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Graduate Layout Engineer you will be working on leading edge technologies to create silicon chips that power many global brands. You will be working with our customer’s engineering teams to create the Integrated Circuit Layout for our customers functional design. To carry out this task you will be using industry standard software with the output taken by foundry manufacturers to create a silicon chip.
IC Mask Design is small organisation with a flat management structure. You will be reporting directly to our Engineering Managers who in turn report directly to our Chief Executive and Chief Technical Officers.
GRADUATE INDUCTION:
As part of our Graduate Induction process, you will be given the necessary training required to carry out your role. We are recognised as worldwide industry leaders Integrated Circuit Layout Training and this ensures that you will be given the best in class training as part of our Engineering Team. You will be required to spend the first 6 months located in our Design Centre in Maynooth for training. Following on from that you will be given the option of working at our Design Centres in Maynooth,Limerick or Cork
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES:
Degree Level Qualification in Electronic Engineering or related field.
Excellent computer skills with an aptitude to learn new software packages in a compressed timescale.
The ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise with your peers, company management, customer engineers and managers across diverse cultures and languages.
